2019 is the birth year of the very first Captûre Merlot from Pine Mountain. Very dark blue fruits, heavy savory spice give a seductive nose. 19% Cabernet Sauvignon selected from a lighter block brings bright red fruits and just enough tannins to bolster the gorgeous textbook Merlot fruit. Blueberry, cherry, some dried herbs like sage and a forest floor-like character, allspice and a hint of cinnamon. Silky smooth tannins that linger, all framed in balanced acid with just a hint of fine oak.

Pine Mountain
2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon wraps the rugged spirit of the mountain in an elegant frame. Impossibly dark and inky, a bouquet of freshly picked raspberry jumps out of the glass with cola spice, violets, blueberry pie, and hints of brown sugar. Rich raspberry compote, cassis, and milk chocolate notes reveal themselves on the palate, overlaid with warm pepper and spice box aromas. The palate is prominent with mountainous tannins that will age gracefully in the cellar. Scored 94 points from Antonio Galloni, Vinous.

Rosé of Sangiovese
2021
"The 2021 Rosé of Sangiovese has a gorgeous pale pink cherry blossom hue that entices you into the glass to discover aromas of fresh rose petals, watermelon rind, some lime oil, and slight hints of candied ginger. Watermelon again on the palate layered with tart cherry, raspberry and hints of wild herbs all braced by playfully bright natural acidity. This pretty wine is completed by an alluring mineral texture. Please enjoy in the sun with good food, and more importantly in the company of good friends. Cheers!"

Pine Mountain
2021 Sauvignon Blanc
Styled like a classic white Bordeaux, this Sauvignon Blanc ferments in neutral oak puncheons and clay amphorae for a soft, rich texture. An elegant nose of white blossom, stone fruit, spice, lime leaves, and fresh Meyer lemon. The wine couples intense minerality from the rocky soils and extreme elevation with balanced layers of tropical and citrus fruits. Extended tank aging and less stirring provide a textured mouthfeel, tempering the mouthwatering natural acidity, which is synonymous with this unique, single vineyard site.
