"The 2023 Rosé of Syrah is the first of its kind. The tiny Syrah block sits high up on Alexander Mountain at around 1,600 feet in elevation, producing tiny berries packed with flavor. In the glass, the wine’s aromatics shine. Fresh peach and floral notes, hints of spice, and some watermelon rind smell like summer. On the palate, watermelon, orange zest and tart raspberry are braced by the trademark playful acidity. The wine has a wonderful mineral texture reminiscent of Provence, but from a mountain in Sonoma! Enjoy." - Sam Teakle, Winemaker

Pine Mountain
2021 Merlot
Dark blue fruits, heavy savory spice and mountain scrub provide a seductive nose. Only 7% Cabernet Sauvignon made it into this year's blend, selected from a lighter block which brings bright red fruits and just enough tannins to bolster the gorgeous mountain Merlot. Blueberry, cherry, some dried herbs like sage and a forest floor like character, allspice and a hint of cinnamon. Silky smooth tannins that linger, all framed in balanced acid with just a hint of fine oak.

Pine Mountain
2021 Sauvignon Blanc
Styled like a classic white Bordeaux, this Sauvignon Blanc ferments in neutral oak puncheons and clay amphorae for a soft, rich texture. An elegant nose of white blossom, stone fruit, spice, lime leaves, and fresh Meyer lemon. The wine couples intense minerality from the rocky soils and extreme elevation with balanced layers of tropical and citrus fruits. Extended tank aging and less stirring provide a textured mouthfeel, tempering the mouthwatering natural acidity, which is synonymous with this unique, single vineyard site.
