Tara Sharp has traveled all over the world following her passion for delicious food and fine wine. She grew up in Sonoma County and began working in the wine industry when she was only 16 years old, long before she was old enough to enjoy the finished product. Later, she worked for many years building and launching wine brands for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and Artisan & Estates, one of the most highly-regarded wine companies in California.

At Captûre Wines, Tara draws on the depth of her experience, her refined palate as a certified sommelier, and her extensive knowledge of the surrounding winegrowing region to oversee marketing, public relations, and brand development.

When she is not in the vineyard, she can often be found touring the ranch with visitors and sharing the rich history of Tin Cross Vineyards.

Tara and her husband and daughter also nurture a 100-year-old organic Gravenstein apple orchard in Sonoma County.
